This video is the summary of a true story. It is like many good stories you've heard or read, but the more you learn, the more you'll realize this is not just another story--it is the story. It defines us all. It makes us think about who we are and who we can become. And, so . . .
We Believe, Practice, & Teach
In the word-by-word, God breathed, inerrant (in the original manuscripts), and final authority of the Word of God also referred to as the Holy Scriptures and Bible.
In the literal, chronological, historical-grammatical interpretation of the Bible. We teach that every word is to be taken at its primary, ordinary, usual, literal meaning unless the facts of the immediate context, studied in the light of related passages and self-evident, basic truths, indicate clearly otherwise.
One true and transcendent God, eternally existing, consisting of three distinct manifestations: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. These three are together God. God continually and totally cooperates in harmonious subordination with Himself in everything.
God created the heavens and the earth and everything in them.
In the fall of all humanity in Adam, resulting in complete and universal separation from God and all of humanities need of personal salvation.
In the Lord Jesus Christ as true God and true man; His virgin birth, sinless humanity, substitutionary death, bodily resurrection, present advocacy, and His bodily return.
The Lord Jesus Christ shed His blood and died as a sacrifice for the sins of every person in the whole world. Salvation is by the Plan of the Father, Person of the Son and Power of the Spirit.
The Holy Spirit makes alive with divine life, and personally indwells believers upon faith in Christ for salvation forever each and every believer. He gifts each and every believer with spiritual gifts that unveil the perfection of God, build up believers and explains God. We teach, publicly exercise and encourage: Administration, Evangelist, Exhortation, Faith, Giving, Helps, Mercy, Pastor and Teacher, Teacher.
Salvation is a free and everlasting gift of God, entirely apart from works, received by personal belief in Jesus and His finished work on the cross of Calvary.
Believers baptism is by immersion as the Word teaches and the word means.
The church, beginning at Pentecost, is the body of Christ comprised of all those who have trusted Jesus Christ as personal Savior.
It is the church’s responsibility to live out, point to, explain, and make disciples as together we learn to obey all things Jesus has commanded us in the Word.
The catching up of the church will occur prior to the tribulation and the return of Jesus Christ to the earth prior to His rule and reign for a period of one thousand years.
In the bodily resurrection and eternal life of those in Christ with the God in heaven and the bodily resurrection and unending punishment of those who are not in Christ.
