We Value Gospel-Centered Service
We believe the cheerful and sacrificial giving of our time and talents is part of our worship and a way to obey God's command to "love one another" (John 13:34-35). That’s why we value gospel-centered service.
There are a number of ways for you to use your gifts to serve the body of Christ for God's glory within and beyond the Trinity Baptist Church community. Check the links below for some of the opportunities to serve:
Three-Strand Cord Prayer Ministry
Two authentic Christ followers in a prayer covenant with God, together taking matters of great importance directly to God, believing He will transform and deliver His best. This is a great opportunity for couples or Life Groups. Contact Pastor Dave for more information and to get involved.
2017 Shoebox Ministry
Each month, we are collecting various items to pack and send at the end of the year. In January, we're collecting stocking stuffers--on clearance everywhere! A calendar of needed items is available on the table. Bring donations to the designated box. Contact Donna Weisbarth for more information.
(1-2 hours per week)
Help us further the mission and vision of the church as we encourage our children to grow in the grace of Christ. Note: all children's workers are required to pass a background check. Contact Leigh Blaylock to find out more.
(1-2 hours per week)
Help lead in worship through song at various gatherings with undistracting excellence. If you play a musical instrument or enjoy worshiping through song, contact Teri Skidmore.
(2-3 hours per week)
Join a team of individuals who serve behind the scenes by providing for the audio and visual needs of our services, events, and activities. Training on how to operate the sound and video equipment is provided, so all that is needed is general technology experience and a desire to serve. Contact Doug Goka to find out more.
Auditorium Renovation Project
At various times
As you can see when you look around, we are under construction! If you know how to handle a hammer, or even if you can just hand a hammer to someone else who knows how to use it, we can use your help. If you would like to join us, contact Pastor Dave.
